MakersBox Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (MBX) was launched in 2015 to provide STEM education to students with private resources. Over the years, it has generated a revenue of US$ 400,000 (Rs. 3 Crores) and successfully trained 10,000 students and developed many products, processes along the way. Today, it has developed a curriculum and scalable infrastructure to provide the same to all students. In addition, this entity supported Government initiative in Karnal, Haryana to setup a Lab 2015 till 2016 as a proof of concept how the same ideas can be used effectively in public not-for-profit space.

Based on the success of this enterprise and opening of the market and opportunities, the promoters setup MakersBox Foundation (ORG), a non-profit corporation in India registration number U80100DL2019NPL354930 in December 2019. ORG has an active fund-raising department and has developed plans to spend 2 Million Dollars (Rs 14.5 Crores) over the Next 1 Year to Bring STEM technology to 50,000 qualified students across 36 cities of India who do not have access to these resources in publicly funded schools and lack resources to buy it in the open market.

With the availability of Internet all across India, we believe there is an opportunity to impact these children and deliver Skill Based Education using a STEM / Maker Space / Project Based Learning Approach. ORG, based on its experience with Atal Innovation Mission (Government of India's think tank www.niti.gov.in/aim), has the tools, experience and ability to deliver it with the right financial support.

We seek to raise funds from endowments and other donors to deliver the same education and services to the poor segment of the society. We have developed plans to open Public Maker Spaces, School Maker Spaces and provide Schools with trainers / facilitators and curriculum.
