Introduction Type 1

If you look around in your office or home, you know that you need more talneted people, whether it is your driver who should be able to use Google Maps better, get your car serviced, or your home cook who can see youtube, and build on to the recipes. With skills gaps in our educaiton system, we are not teaching our children to be able to solve real life problems, be able to communicate and collaborate, or use critical thinking - essential 21st Century Skills. This gap widens when you goto the bottom of the Pyramid.

MakersBox Foundation (A Section 8, Not for Profit Company) is changing this, by Using STEM Education and Project Based Learning, in urban Villages of Delhi, and is looking for Donors (Individual and CSR Funds). We can provide you with an 80G Tax Exemption certificate, and ensure that 90% of the money donated is spent on the Beneficiaries in the System.

Introduction Type 2

"We believe in changing how education is delivered and ensuring our future generation (wherever in the world they are) can make decisions for the globe as leaders and are self-motivated, lifelong learners. One of the ways to solve this is to use STEM Based / Maker Space-based learning philosophy to enable today's children to learn the 21st Century Skills.

We deliver our work through our Learning Spaces / Learning Nooks and Partnership with Educational Institutes, providing them with Consulting, Training their Trainers, and Provide Curriculum to Integrate Learning approaches in their educational institutes. "

Introduction Type 3

We have always felt that there is a gap in education with what is needed in the industry and what is happening in the future. This gap widens the moment you goto government schools and volunteer schools. Especially at the bottom of the pyramind

This also means, that in the future where there are so many youngsters in India - the talent pool will only reduce, if the children don't have logical and analytical skills. While skills of installing a speaker, an AC are as important, but basic logical skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking skills are what makes a difference in our opinion.

We started MakersBox Foundation to provide this learning (What is called 21st Century skills) to kids in Urban Slums (Such as those in and around Delhi) and outside of the city hopefully as we scale up

MakersBox Foundation is a Not For Profit, and ensures 90% of the donations actually reach the children, and less than 10% is spent on the administration of the organisation.
