Solution to the Problem

Over time we have seen Students who have attended our sessions in Schools, Colleages and Universities with our Project Based Learning Approach using STEM Principles have not only retained what they learnt better, but have been able to apply this knowledge to real life problem solving. From creating low cost prosthetic hands, to creating the next generation of furniture fit for use in India, we have seen some diverse solutions come out of our Curriculum and Approach. To ensure that children have access to a world class learning environment, facilitators wh can help them learn how to collaborate, be creative, solve problems and build critical thinking skills, we need to take our education down to the villages. We are proposing to setup our STEM Maker Spaces one in Each State of the Country, planning a target of 36 Such spaces across India, giving access to school children, and teachers to learn skills that will ensure they are employable in the future, and our leaders in their own respect.

Facilitators
Facilitators are key factors of our organisation as they take our vision of project based learning to the learners. These are usually people with a passion for discovering new ways of learning and are willing to take that passion to practice. Ideally, the facilitators constantly learn from their experience on ground and iteratively develop the curriculum or practices that can make learning impactful and fun. We welcome people with prior experience with such activities and also people with no experince but a keen interest to learn and grow together to actively collaborate with us and work towards the future of learning.

Cost
Each of our Spaces cost roughly Rs. 15 Lacs to Rs. 25 Lacs to build, and require an additional Rs. 12 Lacs every year to run, to work with 100 students each month. To Build these 36 Labs, we need to raise at-least Rs. 15 Crores. In order to help students during this pandemic we have identified a plan that better helps them in imparting education and guide them to achieve their goals while staying at home:
• Inclusive curriculum aligned with their goals and School Boards.
• Impart training sessions online.
• Deliver kits and materials for training session to their home.
• Collaboration and presenting sessions for sharing ideas online.
• Feedback and Mentoring sessions by Industry experts.
