Thank you Abhimanyu for choosing to Intern with MakersBox. As your Internship starts in the middle of a Pandemic Related Lockdown, and we wanted to make sure that by the time you start your college, you are able to make a difference to human lives, contribute to a project that will have massive impact, and learn the ropes to be a future leader.

This page will act as our guide to work with you and to ensure we are all working towards the same goal, and have a clear line of expectations, deliverables and tasks for each of our team members.

Our Thought Process

One could have never imagined the crisis the globe, and our Country India is facing in the 21st Century. We have historically all read of Wars, Famine, The Great Epedemic and so many more things in History - that we would have thought, we are all prepared, after all we have the Infrastructure (Roads, Air Planes, Trains) and we are a part of a Flat World, but what time has shown is that we have all been brought down to our knees, and the only obvious point of failiure that has come out is - A Lack of Clear Leadership.

Scope of Work

Currently MakersBox Foundation is trying to raise roughly 10 Crore Rupeees over the Months of May, June and July, so that it can setup and deliver Maker Spaces / Project Based Learning Spaces / Tinkering Spaces in the Quarter of July, August, and September as schools re-open for children.

  • Increase Reach of MakersBox Foundation and Help People know about the Foundation
  • Work with Beneficiaries on the Ground to Deliver the Maker Spaces
  • Build Curriculum Activities to Engage Direct and In-Direct Beneficiaries (One Activity Per Month of Engagement)

Task Lists

☐ Create Documentation for Funding Agencies, to Fund MakersBox Foundation
☐ Help Promote MakersBox Foundation Fund Raise Channels on Social Media
☐ Create Dynamic Ways of Fund Raising for MakersBox Foundation - Crowd Sourcing, Donations, CSR etc
☐ Engage Both Direct Beneficiaries and Funding Partners by Contributing to a Monthly News Letter
☐ Create a Montly Diary about your Learning Process, and Tasks Completed
☐ At the end of your Engagement, Summarise your experience with MakersBox, Steps for Future Interns / Volunteers, and What would you have done Differently
☐ Create a White Paper (Upto 2000 Words) with Graphics, Resources and Other Details that MakersBox Foundation can use for it's Growth and Creating a Higher Impact
